Reeltime Academy

Reeltime Academy is a photography workshop series which will be hosted by Reeltime Photography. It will be facilitated by photographers who are very passionate about the craft. Participants in the workshop will not only learn from the credible speakers, they will also be provided with opportunities to learn from each other. We will be offering Basic Photography Sessions during the summer of 2013. And very soon we'll also open up sessions for Advanced Photography and Strobist Photography. We are very excited to share our expertise. There is always much to learn so one workshop will never be enough.

Basic Photography Workshop Outline

Session 1

• Anatomy of a SLR Camera
• Camera operation and handling
• Basic camera parts and icons, shooting modes
• Exposure techniques: getting the exposure that you want
• Elements of Design
• Outdoor practice shoot

Session 2

• Critique of photos from Session 1
• Lighting Theory and Practice
• Using different types of light
• Practice Shoot (indoor)

Session 3

• Critique of photos from session 2
• Portraits: Capturing emotions
• Posing techniques (Single, couple and group)
• Portrait Lighting
• Outdoor Shoot with Model/s

Session 4

•  Introduction to Digital Imaging
•  Using Photoshop to enhance photos
• Judging of Prints
• Awarding of  Prizes and Certificates of Attendance
